The Diamond is a full replacement air flow mattress, that has been specifically designed on the understanding that self positioning, physiotherapy and independence are sometimes of equal importance as the traditional pressure relieving qualities of a dynamic airflow mattress.
Diamond Low Profile Alternating Air Mattress
The Squirrel Diamond is unique in that it offers incredible stability without needing to press the static button. This means that persons undertaking wheelchair transfers, self-positioning and assisted transfer will do so with greater ease and safety than a traditional deep cell dynamic mattress, which should significantly reduce bed falls within care homes, hospitals and of course independent living.
This dynamic pressure relieving mattress is a full replacement system alternating air mattress that sits straight on to a bed frame. Its ultra low height means that it fits all hospital and nursing beds (assuming they conform to the correct CE standard – BSEN 1970) which means that the bed rail height of 22cm> should be attained.
