The Medi-Pro+ mattress is a two-part construction consisting of a base and an insert.
The base is standard throughout the range, constructed with “air-flow” channels on the bottom side to improve the bed climate. The integrated side wall construction allows the correct hinged movement of the mattress whilst providing firm edged support for the user.
The insert is constructed from a combination of high density foams along with specific layouts and interweave designs.
Used in conjunction with the base, these inserts ensure a flexibility throughout the range that will meet most pressure care requirements. As an added advantage the Medi-Pro+ range of inserts allow simple replacement or upgrade to suit.
Each mattress is protected by a multi-stretch cover which is waterproof and has welded seams as standard. Each cover is printed with full care and rotating instructions.
As an alternative all mattress can be supplied with a CoolMax towelling cover.
Medi-Pro+ Insert Configuration
The Medi-Pro+ range consists of 5 types of mattresses identified Medi-Pro+ 1 to Medi-Pro+ 5. All mattresses within the range use identical base and sidewall construction, and are differentiated only by their type of inserts as illustrated below. The inserts are designed to meet individual requirements and are interchangeable.
